MAFB currently serves Kershaw, Sumter, and Lee Counties, but we have outlined a strategic plan to work throughout South Carolina. However, it takes time to develop partnerships in counties and secure funding and other resources to support a food distribution program in each county. We ask for your patience and consideration as we work to expand our services statewide. If we currently do not serve your county, please go to the "Contact Us" page and send us an email. Be sure to include the name of your county and we will provide information as to a projected date when we may launch the mobile distribution initiative in your area. It is MAFB's intention to begin serving the following counties in 2023: 1) Saluda County; 2) Newberry County; 3) Fairfield County; and 4) Chester County. Yes, there will be MAFB staff and volunteers available to load the items in your vehicle. However, please make sure that your vehicle and/or trunk of your car is not loaded with other items on distribution day. Staff and volunteers do not have time to help you clear out your vehicle before loading the items in your vehicle. If your vehicle is loaded with other items when you arrive at the distribution site, you will be asked to pull out of the distribution line and park your vehicle so that you can make space in your vehicle.
